* Maxwell is a render engine based on the physics of real light.

All of the elements in Maxwell, such as light emitters, material shaders, cameras etc.,

* Maxwell's method of calculation always converges to the correct solution without
introducing artifacts due to the fact that it is an unbiased renderer.
* It can fully capture all light interactions between all elements in a scene.
All lighting calculations are performed using spectral information and high dynamic range data.
* Maxwell operates as a stand-alone command line application that targets many different
enviroments like high-end rendering, architectural, production, and scientific.
* Maxwell elements imitates its real-life equivalent. In other words: a camera offers
shutterspeed and diaphragm settings, light calculations are performed in spectral colorspace
in stead of limited RGB space, outdoor light is determined by specifying a desired date,
time and location, and so on.

What's new in the Beta release?
The average speed of the render engine has been optimized and now eliminates noise an
average of 3 or 4 times faster. Sometimes more, depending on the complexity of the scene.
And a bunch of new features.
