Pasikalbejimas su TyRuben Ellingson
Zodziu sendien turejau ipatinga diena!
Is pradziu maniau jog tai pokstas, kitais zodziais tariant apsimetelis! bet neilgai trukus supratau jog sis zmogus " Is a real deal" !
Taigi, po pokalbio pateikiau kelis klausymus, taigi atrinkes pora svarbesniu rasau apacioje, manau kad ir jum suteiks siokio tokio Boosto stumtis i prieki! 🙂
P.S Versti patingejau, tikiuosi suprasit 😉
Edvinas Mikstas:
What is it like to be a designer in this industry?
TyRuben Ellingson:
It's very different now than when I started -- and it runs in both directions -- good and bad.
There are way more opportunities -- however -- there is way more talent out there -- way more competition, if you will.
With me, it's been awesome -- I have loved my career -- it has been fantastic.
Edvinas Mikstas:
Just by looking at your work I see many years of experience, how does 3D changed your experience in concept design! When did you realize that 3D is so important?
TyRuben Ellingson:
I was around 3d for a long time -- however -- it wasn't until 2002 that I really started using it as a design tool -- that was because SketchUp came out and made renders that looked like my pen and marker drawings.
I believe that my design work has really improved since adopting 3d workflow -- it allows for "deeper thinking" with regards to shapes and how they look from all angles. Until this year -- I only used sketchup.
I render in Keyshot if I'm looking for photo realism.
I've recently begun messing around with MOI 3D -- but am unsure how it will work for me.
Edvinas Mikstas:
Do you have any toughs or recommendations for a person who is trying to break into industry?
TyRuben Ellingson:
Well, one has to do what you're doing with me now -- build relationships -- network -- keep looking and swinging.
It goes without saying one must keep evolving their work. Pushing the limits of what they can do -- or how they think.
Building a reliable method for producing high quality work on demand is important -- that's kind of obvious.

o siaip tikrai smagu. Jei daugiau apie ka kalbesites - butinai parasyk cia!
